The ESMO 2018 medical congress will take place from 19 to 23 October 2018 in Munich. The members of the European Society for Medical Oncology will convene at the International Congress Center Munich (ICM) where they will exchange experiences about the latest scientific findings in the field of oncology.

Agenda for ESMO 2018

The agenda for ESMO 2018 will focus on various key aspects relating to oncology, including:

Immunotherapy
Treatments for bowel cancer
Combined administration of drugs and their effect on the immune system

The European Society for Medical Oncology

The European Society for Medical Oncology was founded in 1975. Its role is to prevent and diagnose cancer diseases as well as to improve the treatment and palliative care of cancer patients. At the same time ESMO forges links between scientists, doctors and patients in order to find the most effective methods of treatment in this area.

The ESMO is the leading organization in Europe in the field of oncology. The society is made up of a committee of 500 experts and welcomes every year more than 13,000 scientists and doctors to its ESMO congresses.
