The European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) was founded in 1965 in Montecatini, Italy. The European Association brings together more than 8,000 scientists, doctors, laboratory technicians, nursing staff and students from all over the world who work or study in this field.
The aim of the annual four day congress is to present in different symposia, meetings and discussions new insights into the latest research results, technologies and studies in the field of diabetology. By adopting this approach the health care professionals intend to drive forward research and advance the treatment of diabetes and associated diseases.
